ECN General Manager Nick Pinto (left) and Editorial Director David Mantey (right) kick off the 2015 ECN IMPACT Awards in the Grand Ballroom of the Mirage Hotel & Casino. The awards ceremony was co-located with the 2015 EDS Summit.

Sean Dycus, Regional Sales Manager, and Stephanie Lubrano, Marketing Communications, from Laird Technologies. Laird's BT 900 Series dual-mode Bluetooth V4.0 modules won the Boards, Modules & Embedded Systems ECNIA category.

Mark Brown, Sales Director at California Eastern Labs (CEL). CEL's MeshWorks was recognized in the Rapid Prototyping service category, but it also went home with the final award of the night when it was named ECNIA's 2015 Market Disruptor of the Year.

Alex Karapetian, Director at Acopian Power Supplies. Acopian won the Social Corporate Responsibility special recognition category, a new ECNIA award in 2015.

Randy Horien, Supplier Sales Manager at Digi-Key. Digi-Key won the Distributor Innovation service category for its Mentor Graphics Designer Schematic and the Mentor Graphics Designer Layout EDA Tools.

David Anderson, President & CEO of Novati Technologies. Novati's Trusted Foundry Material Portfolio won the Contract Manufacturer Innovation service category.

Jessica Engel, Global Distribution Manager at Harwin. Harwin's EZ-Shield Cans Development Kit went home with a win in the Tools, Kits & Reference Designs category.

Kinana Hussain, Director of Marketing with Peregrine Semiconductor. Peregrine took home two IMPACT awards for its UltraCMOS PE45450 RF Power Limiter (Passive Components & Discrete Semiconductors) and UltraCMOS 10 Technology Platform (Material Technology Innovation).

Bob Tavares, President & CEO of API Technologies. API's Radiation-Tolerant, Voltage-Controlled SAW Oscillator won the Oscillators category, and the company's GaN-based 1 kW Solid-State Pulsed Power Amplifier took home another award in the RF Amplifiers category.

Brad Ruzicka, Director of Global Distribution & Channel Marketing at Texas Instruments (TI). TI took home two big wins at the IMPACT awards this year, winning in both Optoelectronics for its 0.3-inch TRP HD 720p DLP Display Chipset, and in Wireless Charging for the 10-watt wireless charging solution.

Ted Franceschi, CEO & Chief Development Officer of New Scale Technologies. New Scale's M3-LS Linear Smart Stage won the Electromechanical/Mechanical Devices product category.

Martin Mason, Executive Director of Business Management with Maxim Integrated. Maxim's MAX11300 configurable mixed-signal data converter won the Analog & Mixed Signal ICs category at the 2015 ECN IMPACT Awards (ECNIA) held at the Mirage on May 15, 2015.
